1.About Our Services
SimpleLPA provides online document creation services for Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA) documents and Wills. Our services include:
- LPA document creation service (£49)
- Standard Will creation service (£10.00)
- Property Protection Trust Will service (£99)
- Crypto Will creation service (£25)
- Step-by-step guidance and support
- Document checking service
Service limitations: We provide form-filling assistance and document creation. We do not provide legal advice, representation, or guarantee the suitability of documents for your specific circumstances.
2.Your Consumer Rights
14-day cooling-off period
Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of purchase without giving any reason.
- The cooling-off period begins from the date of purchase
- You can cancel by email to info@simplelpa.co.uk
- We will refund your payment within 14 days of receiving your cancellation
- If you have started using the service, you may be charged for the proportion used
Your rights under consumer law
- Services must be performed with reasonable care and skill
- Services must be provided within a reasonable time
- You have the right to a repeat performance or price reduction if services are not satisfactory
- These rights are in addition to your 14-day cancellation right
3.Pricing, Payment & Refunds
Transparent pricing
- All prices are clearly displayed on our website
- We are not VAT registered, so no VAT is added to our prices
- No hidden charges or additional fees
- Government registration fees (£92 per LPA) are separate and payable to the Office of the Public Guardian
Payment terms
- Payment is required before accessing our services
- We accept major credit and debit cards
- All payments are processed securely
Refund policy
- Within 14 days: Full refund available under cooling-off period
- After 14 days: Refunds may be considered on a case-by-case basis
- Service commenced: Partial refunds may apply for unused portions
- Completed documents: No refund once final documents are delivered
- Refund processing: 5–10 business days to original payment method

6.User Responsibilities

- Seek independent legal advice when appropriate
- Review all documents carefully before finalising
Age requirement: Our services are intended for adults aged 18 and over. By registering for an account, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age. We reserve the right to terminate accounts where we reasonably believe the user is under 18.

8.Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for:
- Death or personal injury caused by our negligence
- Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
- Any other liability that cannot be excluded by law
Subject to the above, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for our services. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

All content on the SimpleLPA website — including text, graphics, logos, icons, software, and design elements — is the property of SimpleLPA Ltd or its licensors and is protected by UK and international copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.
- You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any part of our website or service without our prior written consent.
- The legal documents generated through our service are for your personal use only and may not be resold or commercially distributed.
- "SimpleLPA" and the SimpleLPA logo are trademarks of SimpleLPA Ltd. Unauthorised use is prohibited.
You retain ownership of the personal information you provide. By using our service, you grant us a limited licence to process that information solely for the purpose of generating your legal documents.
10.Force Majeure
We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations where such failure or delay results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Natural disasters, severe weather, or acts of God
- Epidemic, pandemic, or public health emergency
- War, terrorism, civil unrest, or government action
- Power outages, internet or telecommunications failures
- Cyber-attacks, system failures, or third-party service disruptions
- Changes in law or regulation
Where a force majeure event continues for more than 30 days, either party may terminate the affected services by written notice.

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by:
