Our story
The problem
For decades, arranging a Will or Lasting Power of Attorney meant hundreds of pounds in solicitor fees and pages of jargon. So millions of people put it off, or never got round to it at all, leaving families exposed if illness or age ever took those decisions out of their hands.
Our answer
We're a small UK team who believed it should be different. So we built the whole thing around plain English and a fair, upfront price. Every document is designed to solicitor standards and built to OPG standards, so you get proper protection set up from your own sofa.

We bridge the gap between complex law and everyday life, so no family goes unprotected simply because proper cover felt too expensive or too complicated. Every document is built to OPG standards.
No, and we are careful to say so. SimpleLPA is a legal technology provider, not a law firm, so we help you create your own documents rather than advise you on them. Everything is built to the rules for England and Wales and designed to solicitor standards. If your situation is complicated, we will say so and point you towards a solicitor.
Because the drafting is done by software rather than by the hour. There is no office to pay for, no appointment to book and no file to open. The questions we ask are the questions a solicitor would ask, and the wording that comes out is held to the same standard. You are paying for the document, not the meeting.
